CURRENT CO-WORKER VACANCIES

HOUSE CO-ORDINATOR

We are looking for a mature individual or a couple to run one of our households.  The role would involve living on site, sharing in community tasks and participating in all aspects of our daily life.  The position is long term and would require a minimum stay of two years.

Core responsibilities include:

Managing all aspects of a residential house, including responsibility for student welfare, co-worker training and training needs, conduction of supervisions, management of budgets, arrangements of provisions, attendance at meetings, compliance with policy such as Health and Safety procedures and taking ownership for personal development.

An NVQ qualification in Care or equivalent is essential and it would be highly desirable to have had experience of working with people with learning disabilities or complex needs.  An interest in Camphill life and experience of community living is also desirable.  Pennine Camphill Community is an equal opportunities employer; if you would like to apply for this position, please e-mail Vera Hillier at volunteering@pennine.ac.uk with your CV and a covering letter.

Do you live locally?

Would you like to come and volunteer in one of our work areas on a regular basis?

We can provide you with appropriate training and we are happy to consider NVQ training for committed volunteers.
