Introduction to Pennine Camphill Community
Pennine is a Camphill Community that supports a specialist college offering further education, training and support for young people with special needs — learning, emotional and behavioural difficulties. Please phone our Admissions Secretary on 01924 255281 to enquire about student vacancies for 2008/2009.
Pennine is part of the Therapeutic Communities’ Network (Community of Communities), and also supports other organisations.
We are situated in Chapelthorpe, on the outskirts of Wakefield in West Yorkshire. Our site, comprising 35-acres, has a rural aspect and is surrounded by trees, but we are close to the local community.
