Fundraising

Pennine Camphill Community is a registered charity whose main activity at present is supporting a Therapeutic Community and College of Further Education for Young People with Learning Difficulties. We aim to provide this for people whose needs are not met by other statutory bodies.

Although the greater part of our income comes from contracting with Social Services, Health Authorities, and Education Funding bodies we need to actively fund raise to provide the quality of care and support we believe our students deserve.

We need to fund raise for an exciting development of facilities and also to create a bursary fund for students who are not able to access statutory funding. Students are sometimes denied support depending on where they might live or that their educational steps might not fulfill the detailed criteria of statutory funding. We believe it is a significant part of Pennine's activities to provide opportunities for young people that is not elsewhere available.
