By public transport

Wakefield has reasonably well-served train stations (Wakefield Westgate and Wakefield Kirkgate) and a bus and coach station.

By bus from Wakefield

The 110 bus (click here for timetable) leaves Wakefield City Centre (Northgate) approximately every 20 minutes during the day, and costs about £2. Ask for Kettlethorpe terminus (Fairbrooke Road). The journey lasts between 20 and 30 minutes, dependent on traffic. With the bus turning circle on your right, walk up the hill (on the road the bus came along). Continue on round the bend and up to the mini-roundabout (approximately 300 metres). Go straight across and down Wood Lane. We are 300 metres on the left.
