Guidance on receiving funding support for students who want to come to a specialist college continues to be confusing and contradictory. We have put some guidance together that we hope will be useful.

Pennine Camphill Community is a specialist college providing further education and support for young people who have learning difficulties. In addition to our full time programmes we are able to offer some shorter part time individual programmes. This maybe with support through social services or personal budgets. To arrange a visit please contact the admissions manager on 01924 255281. Although most students start in September we are able to offer admissions throughout the year.

Our latest Care Quality Commision report has just been published. Two inspectors visited in January and we were very pleased that they spent quite some time talking to our students, which is just the way it should be.

Pennine is in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. We are within easy reach from both the M1 and M62. We are accessible for day students from Wakefield, Barnsley, Doncaster, Kirklees and south Leeds. Our site covers 58-acres, including farmland and horse riding facilities. We have good access to public transport and local amenities.
